The most common lock type in the UK is keylock and should come with 2 keys. However, other types available are:
Combination: where the dial is turned a few times one way to a number and then turned the opposite direction to a different number 2 or 3 times until open.
Digital: where a keypad is pressed to enter a code (usually between 4 and 16 digits). Electronic will soon become the major type of lock as the owner can change codes at will and many have features such as dual entry, time lock or time delay and multiple users with different codes.

ELECTRONIC LOCK
All models are fitted with a motorised electronic lock which has a 2nd user function and an external emergency power connection. In common with other certified safes there is no key over ride.
ANTI-TAMPER ALARM
All models are fitted with an anti-tamper vibration alarm. An audible alarm is triggered should the safe be physically attacked or when 3 wrong codes are entered.
INTERNAL FITTINGS
Each model is fitted with a removable shelf as standard. Shelves are not adjustable.
FIXING OPTIONS
The HomeStar range has the option of base or rear fixing
CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN
Door thickness: 6mm steel with anti-drill plate protecting the whole of the lock mechanism.
Body thickness: 3mm steel with anti-drill plates protecting bolt ends and the lock from above.
